Departure and return
Check the approximate pickup area and agreed return arrangements. 'By the coast' does not identify the water entry point or confirm that you can return at another beach.
Plan for the return journey rather than spending all your rental time paddling one way. Confirm any alternative drop-off point or transport with the partner.
The equipment you receive
Check the paddle, suitable buoyancy aid and storage for what you will carry. A dry bag or container is not automatically included. Ask for instructions on using the model before setting off.
Check how you will protect your belongings from water. Do not leave a phone or documents unprotected just because the craft has a storage compartment.
Wind and water conditions
For a sea outing, check the DHMZ marine forecast and local instructions. Adapt departure and return plans to conditions and your experience.

What if this is my first time on a SUP or kayak?

Can I choose hourly or daily rental?
Only when the particular listing offers both rates. After choosing dates, check the billing unit, minimum duration and authoritative price calculation.
