For getting around town, consider riding position and how you will carry your belongings. For gravel, check tyres and bike type. On longer road rides, frame size and fit matter.

Read the local route description before choosing. The official Istria Bike portal has cycling service and route information. A map does not replace checking signs and conditions on the ground.

Check available frame sizes and give your height when arranging the rental. At pickup, adjust the saddle and check the brakes before setting off.

When travelling with children, ask about a suitable bike or compatible child seat. A photo of an accessory does not mean it is included in every rental.

For an electric bike, check the battery level at pickup, the charger and return requirements. Plan the route with charging and the journey back in mind.

Hills, assistance settings and load affect battery use. The range in a description does not promise that the battery will cover every route of that length.

Check whether a lock, helmet, lights and any equipment you need are included. Ask how to report a fault and what the partner expects on return.

For a short ride or a whole day, compare available rates after choosing times. Read deposit and cancellation terms, especially if your plans depend on the weather.
